It was a busy day for me and The Indigo Connection. Many of you know that as part of my business, I have been gathering women for breakfast once each month for the past 7 years in an effort to give them a comfortable place to be themselves while they also work on self-improvement and connection. Out members include business, health, sales and medical professionals of all sorts, entrepreneurs, managers, speakers, coaches, network marketers, part-timers and even a few retirees. We are generally natural-health-minded, practical and spiritual too.
Today we gathered for a special breakfast program using games as a way to connect in new ways. We played a networking scavenger hunt, “shout-it-out beach volleyball”, “silent smiles and handshakes”, partner interviews and the “me-too line-up”. Everyone seemed to have a good time. Some activities were probably more comfortable than others, but allowed all of us to stretch in new ways. (Note: If anyone would like to know the details and rules of these unusual games so you might also try them with a group, let me know. Perhaps that would make a good topic for the next Energy Makeover eBook!)
I really appreciate that our guests take the time to fill out the feedback forms at the end of our event to let me know how they enjoyed the morning. We had 8 first time attendees and it was a delight to read their comments as well as those of our long-term attendees.
