ife is full of surprises and possibilities. My recent trip to the spiritualist community of Lily Dale, NY deepened my awareness of the connection between the physical world and the invisible spiritual realm that exists in parallel. We as humans are limited to experiencing a limited range of “frequencies” with our senses. It is certainly possible that other “beings” are out there operating in difference bandwidths. Something that occurs to me is that expanding human consciousness is exposing many of us who to some new frequencies. Certain places like Lily Dale, New York, Sedona Arizona and Lakeside Ohio may allow frequencies to merge and bandwidths to collide more easily. The energy vortex theories associated with hundreds of sacred places around the globe seem to make sense, although I doubt anyone has published scientific proof.
Whether this force out there is pure energy, God, angels, the souls of loved ones or even extraterrestrial beings could be debated at length. In Lily Dale, I found myself pondering Carl Sagan’s movie “Contact” and how the lines between physical, non-physical, time, space, life and death may blur in the depths of the unknown. The more we know, the less we really know! What is clear is that so many of us are seeking answers to some difficult questions and looking for solutions for problems that make our lives difficult. If there is a wise intelligent source out there offering free information for our benefit, then it is worth paying attention. Perhaps this is the same voice that spoke to Einstein, Edison and Mother Theresa.
I experienced an abundance of miracles, both large and small during three short days in Lily Dale. I noticed them with a sense of wonder. I don’t need science to convince me these were real because I have my own personal “knowing” experience. These included:
· Healing sessions at the Healing Temple
· Magical beauty of the fairy trail
· A personal message from my grandmother at Inspiration Stump
· A warm presence that surrounded us on the evening ghost walk
· Brightness of the stars
· A glorious sunset
· Mysterious moving lights in the forest
· The power and simplicity of Qigong
· Great teachers who lead by example, notably Robert Peng, Sharon Klingler and John White who helped me see energy and mediums in a whole new way.
· Bright orbs in my photos
· Voices that spoke to me as I tried to sleep at the Maplewood Hotel
My left brain and that science-trained mind want to reject what my heart and experience tells me is true. As I gather these miracles, the more I know I must trust my heart. God created all of this, and God can never be measured, as hard as science may try. There will always be more yet to be revealed.
I intend to share more about this “other side” in my speaking and writing . There is something out there trying to communicate and connect with us and there is no reason to be afraid. It is the voice that inspires my best creative work. It is there to help you too.
Good things will happen as you and I take notice. The survival of our planet and species may indeed depend on it!
