Last month I blogged about the need for all of us to “Dare to Suck” just a little bit more in the new year. As a follow-up, I wanted to share a really great set of tapping statements you can use if you are a perfectionist who worries about looking ridiculous as you take bold and new risks. You only gain when you try. See how tapping to these statements makes you feel and let me know.
EFT Tapping STATEMENTS for Daring to Suck–
Developed by Betsy Muller, The Energy Makeover Coach
Set up Statement (Say these as you rub the sore spot or tap the Karate Chop Point.)
Even though I’m nervous about failing before I’ve even taken that first step. It’s okay, I recognize my own fear and I love and accept myself anyway.
Even though it feels so vulnerable to take chances to attract what I need and desire – It’s okay to feel vulnerable, clumsy and inexperienced. Everyone starts that way. I choose to love and accept myself now, right where I am.
Even though I’m already expecting to be criticized, ignored, attacked or hurt in some way – it’s okay to have these feelings. I love and accept myself anyway.
I choose to let all of this go and increasing my odds of a miracle by daring to suck.
I can only succeed if I try.
I am not alone. God works through me when I take honest chances.
There are no mistakes. I don’t have to be perfect. It is time to take action.
